Clinically governed care

All services are delivered by specialist clinicians and follow a clinically governed, assessment-led approach.

No hidden costs and fees

Fees are charged per session unless part of an agreed care package. Any recommendations for ongoing support are discussed with you and agreed in advance.

Online appointments

Appointments are provided online, allowing access to specialist care without the need to travel.

Payment

Payment is required before appointments take place. Receipts and invoices are provided, including documentation needed for insurance claims.

Starting support with us

Initial consultation

For self-funding clients, an initial consultation is always required before starting therapy.

This appointment allows us to understand your situation, clarify needs, and confirm the most appropriate support. It also ensures that care is clinically safe, well-matched, and aligned with best practice.

The initial consultation is delivered by a Clinical Director and is not covered by private health insurances.

If you are unsure what support is right for you, this consultation provides a clear and structured starting point.

Comprehensive care packages

Comprehensive care packages offer a structured, multidisciplinary approach for self-funding clients who require ongoing support across more than one clinical discipline.

Care packages are not available to clients using private health insurance, as insurers do not authorise the number or mix of sessions required for this level of care.

A personalised mix of psychology, dietetics, and occupational therapy sessions, agreed following your initial consultation.

14 session care pack

Assessments

Our assessments are comprehensive diagnostic pathways designed to provide clarity, formal diagnosis where appropriate, and clear recommendations for next steps.

They go beyond a single clinical appointment and involve structured questionnaires, detailed clinical interviews, and written reports.

When an assessment may be recommended

An assessment may be recommended when:

  • there is no pre-existing diagnosis

  • the presentation is complex or not clear-cut

  • formal documentation is required for school, university, employment, or other services

Assessments are always discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.

Includes a structured clinical assessment, validated questionnaires, and a detailed written report.

ARFID Assessment & Report

£1,200

A comprehensive diagnostic evaluation exploring the underlying factors contributing to avoidant or restrictive eating. The assessment includes clinical interviews, validated questionnaires, a detailed eating history, and a written report with tailored recommendations.

ADHD Assessment & Report

$1,040

A structured diagnostic assessment for attention and hyperactivity difficulties. This includes clinical interviews, evidence-based questionnaires, and a written report outlining diagnostic conclusions and recommendations.

Important note about insurance

Assessments and diagnostic reports are not covered by private health insurances.

Private insurers may use the term “assessment” to describe the first session with a clinician. Our assessments are full diagnostic pathways and are not equivalent to insurer-defined assessments.

Clinical Letters

Clinical letters and certificates

£80

Letters and certificates can be provided for GPs, insurers, employers, universities, or other third parties when requested.

These are separate from therapy sessions and are charged due to the clinical time involved in reviewing information and preparing documentation.

Reports and letters are not covered by private health insurances.

We work with many major UK private health insurers to support individuals accessing outpatient care. Insurance cover varies significantly between providers and policies, and we aim to be clear about what to expect before treatment begins.

What insurance may support

Private health insurance may contribute towards:

  • some psychology sessions

  • some dietetic sessions

Authorisation, session limits, and reimbursement rates are determined by your insurer and policy.

Co-payments and shortfalls

No insurer pays our fees in full.

Where insurance contributes, a co-payment is always required to cover the difference between insurer reimbursement and our standard fees. The amount of the co-payment depends on your insurer and individual policy.

We will confirm any expected shortfall with you once insurance authorisation details are provided.

What insurance does not cover

Private health insurance may not contribute towards:

  • Occupational therapy sessions

  • Assessments

Authorisation, session limits, and reimbursement rates are determined by your insurer and policy.

Treatment plans and insurer approval

If you wish to seek insurance approval, we can provide a proposed treatment plan and estimated costs to support this process.

If your insurer requires a clinician letter, this is a payable service, due to the clinical time involved.

Important note

Insurance approval is not guaranteed. Final decisions about cover are made by your insurer, even when authorisation has been granted.
